"When residents of The Woodlands come to see the latest ideas and newest products for the home, they can also check out the fresh foods and other locally produced items at the Farmer’s Market," said Tony Wood, president of Texwood Shows, Inc., producers of the annual show.

"Our mission has always been to produce top-quality shows with outstanding exhibitors and speakers, quot; said Wood. "The addition of the Farmer’s Market at the show furthers that mission by providing residents access to the best of the best for the home."

Lorraine Richardson, the Grogan’s Mill Farmer’s Market manager, said she thinks the market will add a dash of spice to the annual home show.

Richardson said the market will include natural eggs and cheeses from local Texas dairies, artisan breads, coffee, and grass-fed natural beef, as well as foreign prepared foods and natural bath products and plants. Featured vendors will be from local farms, the Hill Country and area shops.

"For attendees who stop by the Farmer’s Market first, we will have coolers to store their purchases, leaving them free to browse the home show at their leisure," said Richardson.
